A Quick Update

Severine Menem Newsletter

Hey friends,

Long time no talk! I’m SO excited to finally be able to restart our weekly newsletter and catch you up on everything that has happened in the past few months ...

Life has been quite eventful for our family with a string of health issues. My little one was unwell and had to stay home from school for a couple of months, and I found myself gradually losing mobility in my right shoulder. The good news is that my son is back in school, and I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder, which should naturally resolve within two years - unless I opt for surgery to speed up the process.

Caring for my son made me understand the extent of being a full-time carer: the exhaustion, lack of time for oneself, absence of mental space, and the toll it takes on personal health. And all of this happened during midlife, when menopause symptoms can creep up anytime.

During this period, I reflected on health, life, and business. I've come to appreciate even more the good health we often take for granted. We should be more mindful of our well-being because life can change in an instant, literally.

As a result, I've decided to shift the focus of my business. While menopause remains significant to me as I'm still navigating through it, I want to guide midlife moms reclaim their well-being, energy, and body, one step at a time. Because even small changes can make a significant difference.

In Februrary, I ran a free 6-week course called "Kickstart Your Energy: Take Control of your Menopause with Targeted Nutrition," and the participants were astonished at how their lives transformed in just one week by simply drinking more water.

Becoming and staying healthy is actually pretty simple, but sometimes we forget the basics. Instead of focusing on fancy diets, supplements, and superfoods, what we really need are some good old-fashioned habits and a little help from others. Having a plan, getting support, and being part of a community can make all the difference. Simple doesn't mean easy though.

From now on, I want to share my knowledge and work together with women who want to feel healthy and full of energy again. It's not just for themselves, but also to inspire their families to do the same. I'm excited to work with women who don't let their age define them and who are determined to live their happiest and healthiest lives.

Introducing our new and improved Friday Newsletter called Midlife Mojo! Midlife Mojo is all about finding your inner energy, excitement, and feeling strong during the midlife phase. It's about rediscovering what makes you happy, trying new things, and facing the ups and downs with bravery. With this newsletter, I want to inspire and help women on their midlife journey. I want to give them the confidence, energy, and a sense of purpose to live their best lives.

You'll notice a complete transformation in the format of this newsletter in the upcoming weeks. I hope you'll love the new snippets-based approach. However, if this doesn't resonate with you, it has been an absolute pleasure having you here, and I wish you nothing but the best.

That's all for now. Have an incredible weekend, and I'll see you next Friday.
